Last night went to Si Como No with the kids for dinner and movie, I was pleasantly surprised, the food was great and their little THX theatre was just what the doctor ordered.

El Wagon is in my top 3 places to grub down here, good hot dogs, no, great hot dogs. If there is such a thing. Probably the only Costa Verde eatery worth going to. The rest are overpriced tourist traps and inconsistent in quality.

Sanchos is great, but about 1 out of 6 or 7 times, it's bad.

Byblos is probably my favorite, it is consistent, affordable and the kids can swim while we eat.

Cafe Milagro is ok. Good breakfast, but inconsistent.

Marlins at the beach is pretty good too, and not bad price. It's Aidens favorite spot. Best burger in the area.

A day in the city

We decided to head to town today, needed some good AC and some McD's. So we got a room at the Holiday Inn in Escazu, very very nice place. We went to a mall nearby for some fajita feliz (happy meal) for Oliver and Owen, and Drue and Aid got their fix as well. This is a pic of Boobie riding a cheesy ride at the sub-par arcade. We are having a good time.

Here is a picture taken at my dads 70th birthday party in Ft Myers FL last weekend. I got to see some of my dads old friends and most of my brothers and sister, as well as my Uncle Jim and Aunt Cindy. Seeing them all brought back many good memories from my childhood. I also snuck in some fishing with my brother Chip and my good friend Chuck.

Took the family out to the new Intrust Arena tonight to see the Globetrotters. It was my first time seeing them, ever, and I'll say, it was entertaining for the kids. Also, the new arena is awesome, with my only question/ complaint being the layout. They send you upstairs, then down to your seats. The food selection was a wide variety, reasonable pricing, and spread out well throughout the concourse. The bathroom action was clean, yet small, but ok. Parking wouldve sucked, but we paid the 10 bucks to park, literally, right across the street. Other than ticket sales looking like it was bleak, I was very impressed with the whole experience. GOOD JOB CITY OF WICHITA! Now theres something you wont hear me say too often. I'm sure the hockey games will bring a whole new spark to the downtown/oldtown area. I'm sure more people will attend thunder hockey games too, as long as they dont price gouge the fans. Lets just hope the people of Wichita come out to support the arena so there will be more new shows and sports events to keep coming in. Also, whoever designed the Intrust Arena gets an A+, very Kansas-like and Wichita-like to the bone. I love it. I didnt have too much time to browse, but if there isnt one, there needs to be a big Blackbear Bosin picture or two hanging somwhere. And, of course, everyone should come down to Club Billiards after every event for a coffee or a beer.

THUNDER SEASON ABOUT TO KICK OFF!!!

Today my 2 season ticket partners and I met at CA's and did the preliminary dividing of the tickets and I am pretty pumped to get the season rolling. It is the one thing that I really get into anymore. All of our off season moves turned out to be looking good so far. All our guys seemed to be doing work in the off season, sounds like KD is still improving and still has a humble attitude which is sure to help him to keep improving, realizing that he can always get crisper. Sounds like Russell Westbrook worked his ass off as well and represented the Thunder with pride. I've heard James Harden carries himself with much maturity. I love our team. I dont want to jump the gun, but if we pick up where we left off, and our new personnel gels well with our veterans.... I hope to make the playoffs. I also feel like keeping coach Brooks was an awesome move, as he seems to be humble, the biggest thing I see bringing down any team in any sport is EGO, and we dont seem to have that element on our team. I just hope we can keepit going and that our guys dont lose focus on the big picture. So monday, I will be leaving the ICT after I get Aiden from school, he and mommy will join me in the ritual pre game meal at Spaghetti Warehouse, then to the Ford Center for the pre season home opener against the Suns. Hopefully Nebraska will get a big win over Missouri thusday nite on ESPN also, they are on the way back to the Nebraska of old. The Chiefs, on the other hand, suck. Badly. They are an example of EGO getting in the way of Takin Care of Business. Hopefully they get that worked out by seasons end or they will lose my season ticket business as well as alot of others I presume. On another note, Id like to say congrats to my friend Clint Bowyer and his crew for a good season, even though they didnt make the chase I think they have a good thing going and will have a great shot next year. Nextel Cup is no walk in the park and he can run with the best of the best every week, that is something to be proud of. Also, good luck to Casey and Brook on their new baby set to arrive this month, I am truly happy for them. (Mike Honcho is a good name, fyi). Hope to hear all about the new baby boy at Texas Motor Speedway in November. I am also happy to report that YESTERDAYS CORN 8070, my fantasy football dynasty team, is off to a 3-1 start and look like we are gonna get another win this week.

Olivers first birthday

Boy how fast the last year has blown by, its been a bad year for me personally in many ways, but it has also been a stellar year as well. I am so lucky to have such a beautiful family, I love them more than they will ever know. Here is a video of Oliver at his first birthday party and everyone singing to him. Boy he loved that cake, and he was a great host, without a nap and everything, he still was smiling like he always does and making people smile like he always does. It was also nice to have all my nieces and nephews there together, all my parents, Jills family and grandparents and of course Uncle Tiny as well as Dawn, Michelle, Joy and Ray. Days like today make the rest of the bad things going on in my life irrelevent, I am reminded of how lucky and blessed I am to have a wife and kids like I do, they are what keeps me going, I have a great tribe here.

AN ENLIGHTENING TRIP, POSING MANY QUESTIONS

I didn't expect to make so many personal discoveries on my recent family roadtrip, everything from political issues to philosophical ideas to basic observations. Where do I start?? The most basic things I learned in school were revisited, like the settling of the west, while at the Gateway Arch I realized our forefathers had to adapt and overcome some serious obstacles to make it work, and that people had to work their asses off to achieve things that we all take for granted, like moving goods and building bridges, as well as putting public services together. I dont think we realize hard it was to make our lives so comfortable today. Another thing that hit me like a ton of bricks was the way we have let our resources go to ruins, just to keep building newer and bigger buildings that will eventually go to shit too. Seeing big, old beautifully architected buildings now a wasteland made me sick at my stomach, I mean, why dont we take better care of things?? Its sickening to think of the scale of what has been wasted, our planet will only be able to keep building and wasting for so long, maybe a hundred years, maybe a thousand years, but eventually we will run out of resources, then what?? What kind of world are we leaving for our children, or our grandchildren??? Basically, I now feel that the industrial revolution will be known as the beginning of the end of our precious planet. I was also reminded of how weak and lazy alot of our people have become, relying on the government to live, only to have more offspring that will be doing the same, its rediculous. That brings me to my political enlightenment portion of our trip... my XM radio dial was on fox news the majority of the trip, so I got my fill of the Massachusetts police- Harvard professor- barack obama fiasco story and my basic question that I haven't heard yet is what if the cop would've left and the professor had a robber in his house?? Then he would've been raked over the coals as well. Why is it ALWAYS racial??? Why the fuck is our clueless president voicing his opinion?? Doesn't he have more important things to spend his time on?? What if the professor was white and the cop was black??? Would we even be talking about the incident??? Of course not. Another topic that was getting alot of play is the healthcare situation, which I think was created as another way to control us. Why is there such a hurry to make another radical change on such a huge scale by a man with no experience?? How can our leaders vote on such a radical, huge change without even reading all the details??? What is the rush?? I was under the impression that we have a pretty good system in place already, dont we have other things that are a higher priority?? Why are illegal aliens entitled to our tax dollars paying for their healthcare?? Another example of how we've gone from the Land of Opportunity to the Land of Entitlement?? If everybody is so entitled to everything, how will our youth ever grow up to be hard working, proud adults??? Why does this asshole keep saying over and over how he inherited all the worlds problems??? HE SIGNED UP FOR IT, QUIT BEING A WHINEY LITTLE BITCH AND GET TO WORK!!!! Im still very disturbed about obamas overseas apology tour, does anybody think John McCain would ever bow to a Saudi sultain or shake hands with Hugo Chavez, hell, Hilary Clinton would probably have kicked them both in the squirrel nuts, she is a mean bitty. Sara Palin would surely have shot them and field dressed them. Also, why does obama classify himself as black? He is black and white, what a crock of shit. This is off the subject a little, but it makes me think of what a raw deal Trent Lott recieved. At Six Flags I was able to observe some serious lazy parenting, how some people allow their children to act towards others is unbelievable, scary to think what they will grow up to be like, scary for our future. I did have some moments of reassurance with some of the parents, but not much. Most of our children have no idea of reality, not that they should, but I get the feeling they wont ever. My kids are as spoiled as any, but they do have basic respect for others. At Meremac Caverns I realized how true the saying "when men were men" is. I cant imagine how tough they had to be to roll up on the new frontier for the first time, not knowing what to expect, having to get food and shelter off the land. If you think about it, the outlaws paved the way for us, for they learned to live off the land while others were satisfied by settling in. It reminds me how insignificant my daily activities are. It also reminds me to respect what we have, what the sacrifices of our forefathers have given us. Yet it also is a display of how wasteful we are, all because we just keep building and wasting, building and wasting. I hate to say it, but I understand why the rest of the world hates our country, most of them waste nothing. WASTE NOT WANT NOT. Principle like this, that made our country great, have gone to the wayside, people have gotten lazy, I am as guilty as anyone. We have been given the ability to live beyond our means while the rest of the world watches us and laughs. We are a young country, and if we dont watch it, we could lose our liberties. LETS ALL DO OUR PART TO GET A LEADER IN OFFICE THAT IS COMPETENT AND OUT FOR US.

ps- just another useless observation: the Embassy Suites by the airport in St. Louis reeks of Soul Glow like a motherfucker, on every square inch of the property.

Do these two pictures worry anybody else??? Does anybody think our president is a laughing stock to the rest of the world???? Why is the President of the United States bowing to anyone??? Why is the President of the United States giving dap to someone that wishes for our destruction and death to all US citizens??? Why are we interfacing with Iran, then recinding it, make up your mind obama, do you want them to like us or not??? THUNDER DRAFT ANALYSIS-IN SAM WE TRUST-VIVA SAM PRESTI

I dont think we could have come away from the draft any better than we did. Harden has the head on his shoulders, the work ethic, and the skills that fit right into our hand. From what I have seen, his demeanor is just how we like it, modest, mellow, and grown up. Somehow I have a feeling we wont see this guy getting arrested, or fighting with the coach about "practice", or bringing the rest of the team down (all things the punkbitch allen iverson is famous for), like alot of top picks end up doing. Anybody who doesn't like the James Harden pick isnt looking at the big picture. I am almost more excited now to have him than I wouldve been had we gotten Griffin. The BJ Mullens pick made me happy as well, when Dallas officially picked him, my exact words were "I wish we couldve got him", not 3 minutes later they announced that we traded for him. From the sounds of it, he has the same potential as Thabeet both physically and game-wise. As for the third pick, my take is- WHATEVER MR PRESTI LIKES, I LIKE- period. We have to have faith in whatever decisions he makes personnel wise, name one bad move he has made......you cant, because he hasnt. Now as for wishful thinking, I'd like to see us trade Watson and Weaver (who I want to like, but just cant find a reason to except he looks like the pimp from the movie Norbit) to the Atlanta Hawks for Maurice Evans, that would be great to have him coming off the bench as well as lose two pieces of dead weight that will never contribute to our future Championships (plural). I'd also like to see Swift go away as I see no reason to suit him up.....ever. I heard a rumor that we may get a trade for that tattooed out, juco player from the Nuggets, that would be awesome to get a little fire on the court, you cant all be smooth and mellow, have to have a bull in the china closet to keep everyones respect, like Malik Rose does. Being a tatooed out freak myself, I would definately support that acquisition. Now the worst part, waiting for opening night, waiting to see our boys play together. I will be following the summer leagues as much as possible as well as any other outlets I have. All I can think about right now is the draft tomorrow night. Can we parlay some sort of trade in order to get Griffin?? Will we end up with Rubio???? I hope not, he seems high-maintenance, possibly immature, and just all around bad vibe to our mojo, I think. Thabeet would be o.k. for me, looks to have alot of untapped skills and seems to still be developing physically. If we dont get Mr Griffin or Thabeet, I hope we get Hardin or make a trade for an established playa ready to contribute. If we do get Mr Griffin, I will jedi mind trick my wife into having another baby, which of course will be a boy, and we will name him Blake Griffin Chapple, after the greatest draft day move of all time, or maybe I will name him Sam Presti Chapple after the mastermind of said greatest trade of all time. Or maybe karma will deliver us twins. OK, obviously I am a sick fuck who loves his OKC Thunder waaayy too much. I'll either be doing summersaults and cartwheels or throwing shit at my TV. The good news is after tomorrow night, the draft will be over and we will know what we're workin with. I'll be happy. Unless we get stuck drafting Rubio, then the draft is a waste.

LAZY DAYS OF SUMMER, CHECKING IN

Heres a good look at how I've been spending my summer, at the helm of the Kaw Tiki, this is a picture of my crew fueling up at McFadden Cove Marina. There is nothing I am looking forward to more than my magical Red Snapper recipe that I am going to be cooking on the roof this friday at midnight, hopefully under a clear moonlit sky. Try Sirius channel 13, the Elvis station, if you want to play along at home, that is what the high-tech sound system aboard the Tiki is tuned into most of the time.

The reason I haven't been blogging my highly anticipated views on our whacked out presidential administration is that there is too many radical things happening too fast. Do you think Ford is excited about competing against the government, the same government that makes and enforces the rules. I am not a Ford man, but I think they got screwed, so did all those innocent Chrysler dealers that got shut down randomly. How about the repeated emberassment this donkey is causing us around the world, kissing everybodys asses and apologizing for how our great country has been treating the world. Bowing to the Saudis???WTF???? Shaking hands and cozying up to Hugo Chavez???? Closing Gitmo, only to send the first released people to Bermuda as free people. I want to go to Barbados. What a crock of liberal shit this is. We are on a high speed road down the shitter as long as this ass kissing, patsy, yes-man is in charge, it is frightening to think about the state we will be in after 4 years of Acorn type equality and bullshit. How can we stand here and let these people run our great country into the ground???? Why is David Letterman not fired like Imus (who I am not a fan of)???? Everybody is so startstruck with Obama, they arent even paying attention to the outlandish things he is pushing through. And what is with this crazy broad Pelosi???? The more she talks, the less intelligent she makes her self look.

THIS IS WHY I DO WHAT I CAN TO STAY ON THE KAW TIKI OR AT SHENANDOAH AS MUCH AS I CAN, SHELTERING MYSELF FROM THE INSANITY THAT IS GOING ON, RIGHT BEFORE US, AND THERE IS NOTHING WE CAN DO ABOUT IT.

I wish I could load my family up and move to the rainforest (Manuel Antonio to be exact), for life is much simpler there, people are reasonable, they do not waste anything, and life is treated much more preciously down there. And you can still get a good coffee, the only difference is that you will walk 10 minutes through the jungle to get it, and take an hour sitting and drinking it, in reflection- not drive thru starfucks on your way to the office.

TIME FOR SUMMER!!!!!

I am getting geared up for this summer, especially so I can take the Kaw Tiki out for some overnight "crabfishing" trips with the kids. I'll probably go get some whole crabs from either Dillons or Gander Mountain, fill our "crab pots" with them, then take Owen and Aiden out to retrieve our catch. Hopefully, we will have a successful summer at the lake fishing, otherwise we will have to get out to our good friends Bill and Kathy's place for some guaranteed reeling in of the fish. Small pond fishing reminds me of my childhood, I want to teach my boys how to be fishermen also, I have memories fishing with my dad, driveway fishing lessons from my uncle Al, and hours of alone time entertainment growing up in the country. I hope my kids have good memories fishing with me, Papa Jay, and Bill. I hope the lake isn't high all summer like the past 2 years, that sucks. I am super excited, my 1972 Cadillac Sedan Deville is now the official luxury transportation of Shenendoah (the lakehouse). Now I can travel in style to and from the marina, I think MF Shawn wants to move there to be caretaker of the landyacht full time, I mean it will need to be dusted off daily, eh? I am still trying to get adjusted to my new Apple laptop, so I dont have any photos to share, but I soon will. As long as you keep the "Waterboy" references to yourselves after you see the legendary Kaw Tiki, I will try to keep an updated photo journal of the summer outings on her. Everybody keep their fingers crossed, as I think Divine intervention is called for next Tuesday at the draft lottery, I now hope we do get 1st pick, and I do want to get Blake Griffin. My change in position came after seeing a highlight film of Blake, and I must say, he is a special talent, much like Kevin Durant, but with other dimensions. I think we would get to the playoffs sooner with him on our team. But I will be ok with Sabeeth also. Good Luck to Clint Bowyer, hope he has a good run so he can move back up in the points race. Greasy Bikers

I must say, after spending 5 minutes in Laughlin this past weekend, I was reminded why I quit hangin with the biker crowd.....alot of posers, alot of amatuer partygoers, alot of douchebags, I can go on and on. But, my friend Todd thinks that when I say "greasy biker" that I mean it in a bad way, oh contrair monfrer, I mean it as a sign of the respect that I have for the true American Biker. After seeing almost every type of biker/motorcycle enthusiast in Laughlin it occured to me that the ONLY biker I have a place for in my life is the true GREASY BIKER, for they are the only real people in the motorbike community, all others wish they could be a greasy biker but dont have the balls. After spending my entire day at Negotiable Parts Swap Meet on Sunday, I was lucky enough to learn about and respect a genuine All American pasttime that I once mached. Now I am lucky enough to have made friends with some of the most real people on Earth. Panhead Billy not only is a soft spoken, intelligent man and Vietnam Vet, but a great person to sit and listen to, the man burns over 700 gallons of fuel a year in his bike, which equates to some serious life experience that only he can tell, in his special way, his bike is his bed and the road is his home. At first most people would piss their pants if they found themselves in a back alley with the cat, but if given a chance to speak he would have those same people engaging in some great, intilectual conversation. So, I learned once again not to judge a book by its cover. The whole experience made me think alot about how I treat people, and that everyone deserves respect until they give you a reason not to. I am just very lucky that I am married to a wonderful, open minded woman that can hang with ANYBODY and make the most of it. Meeting ol' Panhead made me take my personal inventory and I'm glad I did, I will try to use that to achieve success everyday I wake up. If you'dve told me that meeting a greasy biker would make me a better person, I would've probably had Juice kick you in the nuts, 8070. Wow, like a week ago, I blogged that we needed a new and improved OKC Thunder website, and SHAZZAM, we got one. Maybe I should request some courtside seats to upgrade into, huh? Actually, Id use my super wishing powers to coax the Chiefs into trading Tony Gonzales for someone useful, younger, and more positive....wait, that already happened, yeeeee haaawwwww!!! I do know one thing, it is f@&king hot in the desert, but at least it aint Kansas, ya digg?? Has anybody shaked hands and embraced anyone that wants to kill and destroy them lately? Wait, not including our fearful leader barack hussein osama obama, anybody else??? Didn't think so, what another lame ass thing this donkey has done, apologizing for us, without our permission I might add. Why does this f@#kface think that everything he says is gospel, what has he done other than turn our country and its founding principles that have made us great, upside down?? I also want to say, I really miss the Frontier in Vegas, I am in Laughlin today and it brings back some similar memories that I have of the Frontier, but it also reminds me of why I am not a big fan of bikers, especially their hygiene (or lack of), smell, and crudeness. Owen will make a great biker if, in fact, he gets to be one when he grows up like he has stated that is his mission in life, to be a ninja pirate biker. How fitting, miss you Juice, keep it 8070 while daddy is gone. As I watch the final minutes of the Thunder season, it is awesome to end with a 40 point win on the road. That just solidifies the choice we made at head coach. I think the players paid tribute to Coach Brooks tonite with the largest margin of victory of the year. Not only that, the entire team contributed in every way, 6 guys in double digits, hopefully this is a sign of things to come in the future of our team. We silently finished with a 19-5 record in our last 24 games!! That is awesome!! Kevin Durant epitimizes what a professional basketball player should be, he is the total package. It is also bitchin to see our point guard dunk on everybody like Charles Barkley, looking very forward to having Russell Westbrook as the field general for years to come. Nick Collison improved alot this year and showed that it is ok to get physical, maybe some of the KU clones will start to take notice and travel south to see a better type of basketball as the NBA improves as a whole with our young guys as an example. Krstic came along nicely as well, once he realized the power he has and his soft set shot became almost automatic adding a dimension we needed. Hopefully it will allow us to not wear out KD with minutes like we seemed to do this year, he played more minutes than anybody in the NBA, he needs to be able to sit and rest more. Weaver held his own to my surprise and I think he understands his role and is working hard to contribute every week. Hopefully Watson wont turn headcase on us and will see his role as he winds down his career. Now if OKC can make their website better (cause it really is lame) I will have no complaints. Over and out captain.

I just want to congratulate Scott Brooks for getting named head coach and losing the tag "interim", he is definately our guy. Pat Rielly had to get a break, Phil Jackson had to get a break, everybody that becomes great has to get started somewhere, lets hope this year was the start of something great and long-lasting. Sam Presti and co. deserve a big standing ovation, every personell move that was made this year, I felt was a good move, the veterans they brought in all contributed something whether it was in games or just in practice, I feel we didnt bring in any high-maintenance/fancy pants players, even the young guys we brought in were all good moves, I think. Sure it would be nice to get the Thabeet out of UConn, but if not, I like the progress Krstic made, I feel he got tougher as the season went on, and he finally played to his big size and strength, lets hope he takes it from there and doesnt fall back to the soft play he started out playing. Malik Rose showed our kids how to play tough and relentless, while making few mistakes, he was a championship pickup. Sefolosha was a stellar pickup, I mean where the heck did he come from, he plays like a top 5 pick, very smooth, very consistant, and he got rid of his cornrows, which I think is a tremendous sign of a committment to winning. Obviously, we have three of the strongest young players in the game and it is nice to see that they aren't worried about tattoos, cornrows or their homies, they remind me of the straight ballers that are a thing of the past, with work ethic and public manners like that of Bird or Jordan and not of the likes of Iverson or Mellow (who is tough, really though.) We have alot of things to build on, as long as my fellow fans are patient, we should smell the playoffs by 2011 if not 2010, and hopefully be a consistent force to be reckoned with for years to come. This may not be a popular position, but I hope we dont get a shot at Griffin, he doesnt fit any of our needs, the only reason to get him would be to trade him and that would surely piss some of the local die-hard OU clones off beyond reproach. Nope, we need the big boy from UConn to come in and supplement Krstic, then hopefully be up for the challenge of being a long term inside presence. Another off the wall view I have, is that we could have too much young talent and that may cause some immaturity issues that could hold us down, so if we could put together a major trade, I would say to look to dish Green, in my opinion, he showed some signs of selfishness and primadonna like actions, definately will at some point he will get tired of being second fiddle to Durant (which he would always be behind KD), why not consider trading him and possibly one of our players picked up in the first few rounds of the draft, for a solid mid-career veteran that could contribute right away and play for 8-10 more years.....just a thought. It is easy for me to sit here and post my opinions, but seriously, Sam Presti, Scott Brooks, Kevin Durant and Clay Bennett have all showed that they are intelligent, hard working professionals that seem to be committed to giving 100% everyday and I like the direction they have us headed in. For those of you that live within a few hours of the Ford Center in OKC, go see for yourselves, I garauntee you will leave the game feeling new and fresh, like you've rediscovered the wheel, and that the NBA isn't doomed, that in fact it has a bright future of playing hard and playing right, and it is happening in the middle of the country, literally. GO THUNDER!!!!!

Am I the only one noticing what is unfolding before our very eyes?? There are deciscions being made by our CLUELESS LEADER that are scary. Our economy is as bad as its ever been in most of our lifetimes and we are approving bill after bill to spend money we dont have, 3.53 trillion to be spent in 2010?? Where is the money going to come from?? We will print paper that will soon make the dollar drop to worthlessness. After that we will be in so much debt, we will have no choice but to turn into a socialist country-NOT GOOD. The way he talks like he has some sort of reason that we should just go along with what he, one man, wants is called dictatorship. It happened to Cuba when they elected Castro, a slick talking, young, fresh face of change into office. Look what kind of life the people of Cuba have now. There were one after another controversial things that the mainstream media swept under the carpet during the elections. The one that bothers me most, is the Acorn scandal, and we are giving those people 150 million in "stimulus" money. WTF???? The way the first stimulus was handled is a joke, period. Why was there such a big hurry to pass a bill that nobody could have possibly read in time to vote? How do we know there are not some radical things in there?? What about all the tax cheats he has put on his staff? What is the motivation for us to pay our taxes accurately and on time? What kind of confidence are we supposed to have in our leadership? Why does Barney Frank talk like a goofy cartoon character? Why does Obama always have a shit eatin, Alfred E Newman grin on his face, while our freedoms and our country go down the toilet? What the hell is so funny, what is there to smile about? He acts like a new boy band that just hit it big, going on entertainment TV shows, sports shows, what is next, an MTV reality show? I dont know about you guys, but I am emberassed to have this guy as our president. The rest of the world is laughing at us. How can the government just take over companies as they see fit? That is scary. There are people that have never voted before and will probably never vote again that elected this pop star for reasons unbeknownst to them. The guy has zero experience that warrants him to run the biggest superpower (for now) in the world. His radical ties are the worst part about this big sham, yet celebrities are dubbing him some big savior, why? How? What was the deal with the ass kissing video sent to Iran? These people want to kill us, why is he appeasing them? Even I knew the Queen already had an ipod, there was a story about it last year, on all the news channels. Like the cavemen on Geico said, "next time do a little research." Why shouldn't we call our current war the War on Terror? Why is he worried about insulting these people, they want to kill us. Maybe he is worried about insulting his good friend and terrorist Bill Ayers. Why are we going to set free people that have tried to kill us from Gitmo? What is the logic behind that? They have already shown an openness to a global currency system, does this not worry anybody else? Or am I the only one? I can go on and on about radical deciscions being made, but cant seem to find one good thing this administration has done. The only thing that maybe they seem to be on the right track on is energy, that is if they really plan to do what they say. I dont trust a thing they say myself. Why is the government in the car business? The only reason I can think is because they share the same values of lying, cheating and telling us what we want to hear. I say screw the car bailout, these donkeys have been breaking it off in us for many years, I say let them rot. I can hear it now.."Come on down to Obamathon 09, were slashing prices!! Bad credit- your approved, no credit- your approved, no job- your approved!!" we can only guess they will share the same beliefs as Acorn that got us into this mess by giving people more car than they can afford, you know their entitled now, no longer are we the land of opportunity but we have become the land of entitlement. But those of us that pay taxes have to underwrite those that dont work, make more babies than they can afford (most of which will grow up to cost us more tax dollars in one way or another), with their hands out. When does anyone think we will get rid of Tax Cheat Tim Geithner?? Is it me, or does he look creepily like the guy from the movie Ghost, the guy that set up Patrick Swayze??? There are descisions being made by our government that is scary, with haste. I mean, I am still baffled by the stimulus package of pork and earmarks that got forced through congress in a few days that should still be being reviewed and cut down, and the video ass-kissing that our clueless leader sent to Iran basically making us all look bad??? Who thought that was a good idea?? The people that got obama elected are so blind and clueless to the fact that the guy has never lead or ran anything before let alone the biggest superpower on Earth. Close Guantanamo???? Why???? The people there dont care about human rights so why should we care about theirs?? I say torture them. These same people ran on a platform of less government yet they are trying (and succeeding) to be in control of everything. The situation at the border down south is getting out of control in a hurry while our pathetic leader is on Jay Leno, ESPN and 60 minutes. It seems he himself is starstruck like the rest of the blind people that got him elected. We are about to enter another depression and this guy is laughing about it on national tv. My suggestion to everyone is to turn your paper money into gold and silver because our dollar is soon going to be only good for wiping our asses and blowing our noses with, and if the market continues to fall, gold and silver will rise. I am just pumped that we are getting another shot at what could be a very big win, a very big turning point in our young franchise. The season is almost over and we have shown big signs of gellin', good chemistry starting to get into sync with each other. Our old guys are stepping up to the task of showing the young guys the way........Viva Malik Rose, and I am even glad we still have Watson. I mean, there is not one player on our team I dont like, even Swift has grown on me (like a bad tattoo.) When Durant was out, we stepped our games up a notch and a half, and if not anything else, we proved that there is more to our team than one great player, and showed ourselves what we are capapble of. As a proud Thunder fan, I will be happy if we could just shut Kobes bitch-ass down, maybe even knock him down a couple ten or twenty times........Or at least knock that arrogance off his face and make him not look forward to returning to the Thunderdome!!!!!!!!!If that happens:KOBE BURGERS ON ME!!!!!!!!RUN ME DOWN THIS WEEK ANYTIME AND I WILL SPRING FOR A BIG OASIS BURGER IF WE SHUT THAT BITCH DOWN, AND DRINKS ON ME IF WE (MAINLY COLLISON AND ROSE) KNOCK HIS WANG IN THE DIRT AND MAKE HIM POUT LIKE THE PUNK HE IS.

The Thunder are on a nice roll, and with Durant on the bench that is promising. Our young players combined with our veterans are learning what they are capable of, so maybe that will carry over to when KD35 returns. Malik Rose has been a pleasant surprise with his physical presence and smart play. Now on to NASCAR, our boy, Clint Bowyer, has gotten off to another strong start with his new team and isn't looking like he is going to slow down. Maybe Hamburger Helper and Honey Nut Cheerios are a better diet than Jack Daniels!Looking forward to Texas. The Chiefs have made some strides as well with some awesome moves both in the coaching/management department and personell wise. Finally, winning has become an apparent priority, which is something that I haven't seen in at least 8 years, lets hope we can quickly forget the ways of Peterson and company that has brought us down for too many years. At least we all know that the Raiders will suck again like they always do. I am also looking forward to my RED LOBSTER VICTORY FEAST this week that I won in a UFC bet, thanks St.Pierre. DALLAS MAVERICKS GAME

Alot was gained monday night when we faced the mavericks, without Kevin Durant or Jeff Green. Our new acquisitions played awesome and played together. One could tell they were on a mission and focused. I was pleasantly surprised by the physical defense that 12 year veteran Malik Rose played on Dirk the crybaby bitch Nowitski, he really had him flustered. The kid from Switzerland that we got from the Bulls a few weeks ago looked awesome too, very unselfish and a smart player. Krstik, the big Russian, had his best game of the year as well, only looking super-weak once when he missed a WIDE OPEN dunk attempt by doing a layup instead, I mean dude, your are 7 feet tall, dunk the damn thing, for real, jeeeesh. Add Westbrooks second triple double of the season and you have a good look at our future, it is promising. It appears that the suck-ass mavericks are going to equate to what the bitch-ass raiders have become for me in the NFL, and I like it. We played as physical as I have seen us, and the fact that we weren't helping anybody up off the floor is big, very big. These guys are focused, and want to win more than look good for TV or the girls, they want to be a good basketball TEAM, and that is something you never see anymore in the NBA.

It baffles me, how much of a joke the new stimulus policy getting passed was. How can such a huge spending bill, the largest ever, get passed in such a hurry? No way anybody possibly read the 1800 pages of pork before it was voted in (0 republican votes), before the hurried deadline. I mean, if it was such an important thing to get rushed through, why did Pelosi and others rush to jump on their planes (paid for by us) to go to Italy for the weekend, instead of reviwing the bill further, dare I say work over the weekend, and make sure it was acceptable for all Americans????? There was no participation by republicans or independents, only a push to get it through before anybody had a chance to point out the obvious earmarks and pork product here. Obama said last night "a bill with no earmarks", what bill was he reading? The bill for his fuel to sign it in Denver instead of Washington? No wastefulness there,eh? This is the beginning of the end if you ask me, when a bill of this magnitude can get shoved down our throats before our representatives have a chance to cross out the juiciness thrown in for those that got Obama elected, or those owed favors by whomever. I heard Acorn gets 200 million? WTF????? How is that possible??? I guess the votor fraud they had going on to insure their BOY got elected deserves some payback. Next Bill Ayers will get funding for his next Domestic Terrorist Attack and Rezco needs additional funds for his appeal (how come nobody has pointed out that Obama is part of the credit "crisis" by buying too much house?) Acorn is a prime example of what is wrong with the whole system, we truly are screwed. Well, I have to go to work and earn my living now since I am white, married, have 4 legitimate kids so I can help pay for those too lazy to work, too stupid to quit having future criminals errrr unfathered kids, you know those with their hands out, working our system. In my blog, I will mostly be sharing my thoughts on the NBA. For instance, a player like Allen Iverson, who makes my stomach turn, and what a negative impact he has on the game, I will be hammering on him alot more than likely and how much he sucks, and how little defense he plays, how stupid his dumbass cornrows look, and how much of a pussy he is. Players like him are going to the wayside due to the cleaning up of the game by the "eurowave", younger players with more desire and better work ethic, and David Stern. If the team owners could all join up and pay their players according to not only performance, but effort, we would be able to see the best basketball ever played since the great game was invented. I must say, I am very pleased with the effort I've witnessed out of my young Oklahoma City Thunder, but that dissertation will be reserved for another day, a rainy day.
