Last night went to Si Como No with the kids for dinner and movie, I was pleasantly surprised, the food was great and their little THX theatre was just what the doctor ordered.

El Wagon is in my top 3 places to grub down here, good hot dogs, no, great hot dogs. If there is such a thing. Probably the only Costa Verde eatery worth going to. The rest are overpriced tourist traps and inconsistent in quality.

Sanchos is great, but about 1 out of 6 or 7 times, it's bad.

Byblos is probably my favorite, it is consistent, affordable and the kids can swim while we eat.

Cafe Milagro is ok. Good breakfast, but inconsistent.

Marlins at the beach is pretty good too, and not bad price. It's Aidens favorite spot. Best burger in the area.

A day in the city

We decided to head to town today, needed some good AC and some McD's. So we got a room at the Holiday Inn in Escazu, very very nice place. We went to a mall nearby for some fajita feliz (happy meal) for Oliver and Owen, and Drue and Aid got their fix as well. This is a pic of Boobie riding a cheesy ride at the sub-par arcade. We are having a good time.

7 g's a tooth

Owen has lost 2 teeth this week, reeling in 14,000 calones. Now that's paydirt baby! I may start knocking my own teeth out at that rate of exchange. He is just glad the toothfairy comes to Costa Rica.

What up, getting back in the regular computer world after 1 1/2 glorious years in the Apple world.  Testing…..Testing……

Here is a picture taken at my dads 70th birthday party in Ft Myers FL last weekend. I got to see some of my dads old friends and most of my brothers and sister, as well as my Uncle Jim and Aunt Cindy. Seeing them all brought back many good memories from my childhood. I also snuck in some fishing with my brother Chip and my good friend Chuck.
